Samrah
The term " Samrah", or "Samr", is given to the Arabic cultural performance that is a combination of Zafin and Syarah, and is accompanied by singing and music. The instruments that are usually used are an ensemble of strings and percussions including the gambus, the marwas, the violin, the darabuka, the bongos, and the keyboards. The samrah is usually performed at weddings and other social gatherings, and to the Arabs, it is the highlight of any event.
